In addition to Sunday morning worship, home groups, and intellectual growing in 23, we also must take time to gather together to rest in the Spirit. In our fast paced, plugged in, crazy world, we must also learn to retreat to places in which we can slow down and draw on the Lord for our strength. Sanctuary, Unplugged attempts to do that by inviting all Christians to come together on the second Sunday of the Month at 7:30, and drink from the living waters of the Lord through an even of informal worship, music, prayer, and the fellowship of the spirit.
If you are tired, come, this will be a place of rest. If burdened, come lay your burdens at the feet of the King. Let the joyous too come and sing songs of praise. The only rule, is that when you enter the sanctuary on Sunday night, please remove your shoes, and enter with reverence, as we honor the Lord's presence among us, promised in Matthew 18:20: "For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst." This is an amazing night and we hope that we can get more and more people together, just to rest in God's presence, and praise His name together.
