Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant shall work directly with the Senior Pastor of Berkeley Covenant Church. This person shall assist in coordinating internal and outreach events, including marketing, volunteer involvement, and hands-on oversight. This is a part-time position, approximately 10-12 hours per week.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a mature believer in Jesus Christ who enjoys the role of service and welcoming outreach. The skills needed for this role are relational warmth, coordination, and organization. Non-profit outreach experience a plus.


Duties Include, but are not Limited to:
  • Administrative Assistant to Pastor

  • Partner with Pastor and staff to plan events

  • Produce marketing flyers, website announcements, and outreach materials

  • Purchase supplies as necessary

  • Coordinate vendors and volunteers

  • Onsite, hands-on oversight during event

Expectations of All Staff:
  • General availability and hard work within a healthy system (maintain some regular office hours, be a part of staff meetings, be present at church gatherings).

  • Honesty and accountability.

  • A servant’s attitude that no job is beneath you.

  • Healthy interpersonal relationships with church members and staff.
