Barry Wong
Senior Pastor
Barry joined Berkeley Covenant in Fall 2023 after nearly 40 years in Christian ministry — as a campus minister with InterVarsity, a hospice chaplain and bereavement coordinator, and a local church pastor. He emphasizes a spiritual life formed by the Word of God and dependent on the Spirit’s power, and he endeavors to equip the church to both show and tell Good News to its neighbors and the world. Barry is a graduate of Stanford University and New College Berkeley. He and Michele have been married for over 35 years and have two adult daughters. They love people and food (especially spicy food!) from around the world.
Laurie Fiddes
Bookkeeper/Administrator
Laurie grew up in Berkeley and has attended Berkeley Covenant all her life. She graduated from San Francisco State with a BA in Home Economics/Nutrition. In high school she helped her mom with an after-school kids’ program at the church called, “The Good News Club”. She worked with children in the church and in her sons’ schools for many years, and served as the Children’s Coordinator at Berkeley Covenant Church from 2006-2021. Laurie started bookkeeping for a friend’s business in 1985; when her sons entered high school in 2006, she became the bookkeeper for both the church and Mustard Seed Preschool. Laurie’s sons are now adults, and all have careers of their own; she is especially thankful for a job she enjoys and for a loving church community.
Lynne Jordan
Director of Administration

Lynne Jordan joined the Berkeley Covenant Church staff in July 2025 as Director of Administration. She recently moved from Tucson, Arizona, where she managed operations and finances for a 55+ community, supporting both residents and the board of directors. In her new role, she oversees church and preschool finances, HR, insurance, and facility projects, and serves as the church’s liaison to Mustard Seed Preschool. Originally from the Bay Area, Lynne is thankful to be back home and part of a welcoming church community. She is the proud mom of two daughters—one a nurse and the other an entrepreneur.
Santiago Quijano
Worship Director

With over 15 years in worship ministry, Santiago brings to Berkeley Covenant Church a faith-driven worship style that blends the richness of tradition with the freshness of modern praise. Rooted in his Pentecostal upbringing, he grew up attending Hispanic churches throughout the Bay Area and has served at Cornerstone Fellowship, Arroyo Church, Liberty Church, St. Perpetua’s, and Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church. Santiago also leads Liberty Música, an international worship movement. He is a devoted husband to Bianca and proud father to Emilia and Ezra.
Vicky Brodt
Interim Director of Greenhouse Children's Ministry
Vicky Brodt is the mother of two adult children. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education and has been a teacher in a grade school age enrichment program for over 20 years. Before that she was a preschool teacher for over 15 years at Mustard Seed Preschool. She has a heart for working with young children. She has been involved teaching Sunday school for young children most of her adult life, and has been a member of Berkeley Covenant Church for 20 years. She is also a trained Active Listening Minister through First Presbyterian Church Berkeley.
